Division of Youth

Fall and Spring Weekends

The Division of Youth in the Diocese of Mississippi includes all of our young people in 6th - 12th grade, and the adults who work with them.

The DOY co-coordinators are The Rev. Patrick Sanders and Corey Schneider.

A group of up to 18 selected youth in 10th - 12th grade, and selected adult advisors, make up the DOY Council. New members are selected every year at Annual Youth Council, which meets concurrently with our Annual Diocesan Council .

DOY Council members are responsible for planning and leading (with the help of additional youth and adult staff) four weekend youth retreats held at Camp Bratton-Green . Applicants are interviewed at Annual Youth Council. Be sure to apply for Annual Youth Council if you wish to be considered for DOY Council! Each weekend has a unique theme, and is packed with games, singing, friends, faith and fun! We hope to see you there!
