Adults Working With Youth
Once a year, our parish and diocesan youth leaders - paid and volunteer, veterans and newbies, EYC leaders, Sunday School teachers, bible study leaders, Journey to Adulthood leaders, clergy, you name it! - meet at Gray Center for a weekend of renewal, refreshment, remembering, and resource sharing! Some years we bring in speakers on special topics in youth ministry. Other years we provide a series of workshops on a wide variety of topics. Every year, we provide opportunities for hands-on learning of new games, new discussion starters, new bible studies, and new music. We also brainstorm hundreds of ideas and resources for youth programs and activities.
Of course there is also time to relax and share stories - broken-down vans, pizza that never arrived, games that worked or that you'll never play again, and all those times you thought you were teaching our youth and discovered that they were really teaching you!
